How to repair corrupt pivot table of MS Excel file? SOLUTION:
• Open the Excel File in a safe mode and then check if you can access the Pivot Table.
• If you can, save all its contents to a new Pivot Table in the latest version of Excel so that this problem doesn’t arise anymore. If it doesn’t work, then:
• Right Click on the PivotTable and click on PivotTableOptions
• On the Display tab, clear the checkbox labelled “Show Properties in ToolTips”
• Save the file with the new setting intact
• If the above steps don’t work too, open the Pivot Table Options window by right- clicking on the Pivot Table within an Excel file and select Pivot Table Options from the pop-up menu.
